Queenstown and Publications
What an interesting few weeks. My main computer crashed so my work flow pretty much went to crap, I’m playing catch up now and getting back on to a lot of things. I have made the journey down to Queenstown and will be based here for a while. I have been busy shooting portraits the last few days and I’m pretty happy with the way everything went. I will post something for you on ...read more
On the Search
Hi All, I’m still busy doing snow projects right now. It is coming to an end though. I’m in Tahoe and it’s really warming up. We have had highs of around 18 C the last few days. It does feel good to get some sun on my face, go for a shred at NorthStar and have a few beers on the deck at the end of a day. I can feel the summer rolling around the corner.
It’s been warm ...read more
I’m a Travelling Man
I have been up and down the country twice now. There has been a lot of time spent in planes and cars. It went something like this Minnesota-Reno-Salt Lake City-Jackson Hole, back to Salt Lake City- Reno then off to Seattle and now I’m at Baker. What a journey!
Here are a few images from the windows I have had to peer out of along the way.
De icing the plane in Minnesota so we can get ...read more
America
I flew in to San Fran about two weeks ago now. It’s been action packed since I landed. First we headed up to Santa Cruz for a few days. Rob M’s parents live up there and we stayed at their place right around the corner from Pebble Beach. It’s a pretty amazing place, plenty of money around. Everyone lives on a golf course. We watched the end of a golf tournament before heading ...read more

Indo – Surf, Snorkelling, Culture and more
Hi all. It’s been a few weeks since my last post. I decided it was time to take a break and get some sun, so I left the snow for a few weeks and met up with some good surf buddies in Indonesia. It was an amazing trip and it really recharged my batteries and got the creative mind ticking again. Just being in a completely different environment is good for you every now and again.
The trip ...read more

The Trip to Nowhere
We hit the road all amped for some pow after Tahoe had been dry for a week. The plan was to head up to Seattle and hook up with some NZ crew and Roebucks, then head to Baker and maybe into Canada, but after 8 hours in the truck it all went wrong. We were in the middle of nowhere and the transmission crapped itself. We decided to head back after talking with a mechanic and finding out our ...read more
VB’s View – Minnesota
Minnesota has been hectic. It’s been long nights out shooting stills for a feature in Australia New Zealand Snowboarder Mag along with a few roller coaster rides and a lot of fast food. It was a lot of fun but hard work and it’s good to have a few days chilling back in Tahoe. Here is my second behind the scenes video put together from shots I managed to get when I wasn’t flat ...read more
Minnesota
I have had a very gruelling last 48hrs. There was a big storm coming through Tahoe and we were in a rush to get to Reno before the roads closed. We stayed a night at the casino before catching an early flight. Things got a little out of hand after a few drinks and we ended up not getting any sleep. The next morning we got one of the most ridiculous flights to cut the budget. It took us in ...read more
