Big Jumps and a Few Drinks
Since we got back from Reno we have been out sledding most days. It’s been pretty hectic with all sorts of dramas that come along with sledding. I drove a sled off the trail being a bit too confident but no damage was done, and Bug’s (Reason Films) sled managed to catch on fire after the brake cable got covered in ice. He put the fire out before the whole thing went up in flames but ...read more

Tahoe
After a long flight and a few long conversations with customs I have finally arrived in Reno. Robett H picked me up and we were on the way to Truckee. It’s been a flat out week arranging motel rooms, trucks, sleds and moving into a house where I will base myself for the season. We managed to fit in a day of shredding up at Squaw and had a night session on a ledge/ wall ride where we got to ...read more

Sydney
Hi everyone. I have been quite busy getting set up and adapting to my new home for the next few months, so I haven’t had much time to update.
It’s been a really fun few weeks with all sorts of things going on, from live concerts, surfing, parties, boat rides and hanging out around the bbq in the evening. Here are a few snaps from over the last week.
The opera house spikes

I’m out of here
See ya later NZ – Im off to Manly on the shores of Sydney, Australia. Time to get a bit of surfing, bbq and chilling in the sun before heading back over for the Northern Hemisphere season.
Here are a few videos I thought were worth a watch.
This is what is happening now. It is crazy to think that technology is advancing so much that things that didn’t seem possible soon will ...read more

New Lens Baby!!
I have just recently had a birthday and was stoked when a lens baby turned up on the door step. I have wanted a tilt shift lens for a while but haven’t been able to justify getting one in my field of photography as I didn’t know how much I would use it. After having a play around I can see myself having a lot of fun with my new lens. It’s quite tricky to work and this is ...read more
Air Ambulance
Last week I was asked along to cover some photography for the opening of the new Skyline Aviaition Air Ambulance facility at Napier Airport. This service is for patients that need to be transferred between hospitals in an emergency etc, and to make their transfer more comfortable in comparison to road ambulance. Last year I needed to have surgery done on my ankle and had to be transferred from ...read more

Time to hit the road.
Now that it’s starting to dry up down south it’s time to hit the road, I’m heading to Hawkes Bay. It takes about 21 hours from Queenstown, so it’s quite a drive. I am heading to the bay to visit the family, friends and just chill out for a few days before heading up to Ruapehu to do a catalogue shoot and some other work. Lets hope it’s nice and sunny up there.

Queenstown Class Photo – 2009
Do you remember back when you were at school and you had to get the class photo taken each year. You had to tuck your shirt in and line up in rows with the tallest in the middle down to the shortest on the ends af the rows. Well, I thought it would be a good idea to take it back to the old school days and take a class photo of the people I live with and hang out with down here in Queenstown. Not ...read more

Fight Night – Queenstown
On Friday Fight Night was held in Queenstown. It was an opportunity for anyone in the snowboarding industry to get a hit on the guy you are usually competing with on the ski field for a win. There was a lot of hype for some of the fights, and speculation on who was going to take who out. It was great entertainment for everyone on the sidelines. For some more images and info on what went down ...read more
