Spring has come around really quickly in Tahoe. It warmed up to boardies and singlet weather in about a week and the snow is disappearing. The resorts are starting to close and the beers are starting to flow. My pasty winter complexion has already taken a hammering from the summer sun, but man it feels good to lie around in the sun on the side of a beautiful lake.
So I have been working on finishing off a few projects before hopping on the plane in a few days, and have found some time to just chill out and enjoy the sun. Here are a few snaps from the last little bit.
We have been skating a bunch now that the roads have dried out. Rob busting a bs on this road barrier. Check out some more about Rob in the next issue of Manual Mag
This guy was a classic. We were shooting at a fuel station when he drove in and started telling us about how he used to get a plank of wood, some old roller skate wheels, and him and his buddies boomed hills back in the day before they made skateboards.
I have had a bit of time to go shoot some time exposures, which I used to do a lot more of but haven’t found the time lately. It’s quite a different experience going out in your local town and observing it by night.
A storm clears over old Truckee.
Andy K and the final jump for this winter. It was all about the tree. It reminded me of the trees in Lord of the Rings.
Time for a few bbqs and a glass of wine down by the lake.
Brandon also enjoys long walks along the beach.

Hey there I’m wondering if I can use this post on one of my blogs if I link back to you? Thanks
